Ingredients

12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or dinner rolls)

1 lb thinly sliced deli ham

1 lb Swiss cheese (or your preferred cheese)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Slider Rolls: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. Keep the tops and bottoms connected.

Layer the Ham and Cheese: Place the bottom halves of the slider rolls in a greased baking dish. Layer half of the Swiss cheese slices evenly over the rolls, followed by a generous layer of ham, and then top with the remaining cheese slices. Cover with the tops of the rolls.

Make the Sweet Glaze: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well combined.

Glaze the Sliders: Pour the sweet glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders, ensuring they are well coated.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and sprinkle fresh parsley on top if desired. Slice the sliders and serve warm.
