Ingredients

12 mini waffle cones

1 cup of peanut butter (or your choice of nut butter for a nut-free option)

1 cup of granola (your favorite mix)

1 cup of mini chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips)

1 cup of assorted fruit (such as sliced strawberries, banana coins, or blueberries)

1 cup of yogurt (vanilla or Greek yogurt for extra protein)

2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

Sprinkles or shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Cones: Place the mini waffle cones upright in a muffin tin or on a flat surface to keep them stable while you fill them.

Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the yogurt with honey/maple syrup if using. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Layer it Up: Begin by adding a spoonful of peanut butter at the bottom of each cone. This will serve as a delicious base for the other ingredients.

Add the Granola: Gently spoon granola into each cone, filling it about halfway. Be careful not to overfill, as you’ll want room for more layers.

Fruit Time: Next, add a layer of your assorted fruit, creating a colorful mix amongst the granola.

More Yogurt: Top the fruit layer with a spoonful of the yogurt mixture. This not only adds flavor but also keeps everything together.

Finish Strong: For a final touch, sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the yogurt layer. If desired, add some sprinkles or shredded coconut for extra flair.

Chill and Serve: Place the filled cones in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the yogurt to firm up slightly. Serve as a fun and nutritious school snack!
