Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 lemons (1 for juice, 1 for slicing)

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.

Arrange Ingredients: On a large baking sheet, arrange the salmon fillets in the center. Lay the asparagus around the salmon.

Add Marinade: Drizzle half of the lemon garlic marinade over the salmon and asparagus, making sure everything is evenly coated.

Add Lemon Slices: Place lemon slices over the salmon for added flavor and garnishing.

Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.

Serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining marinade over the dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy! Serve immediately, preferably with a side of rice or quinoa to soak up the delicious juices.
