Mini Pizza Wonton Tacos

24 wonton wrappers

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings, such as bell peppers, olives, or mushrooms)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare Wontons: Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or brush with oil. Press each wonton wrapper into the muffin cups, forming a taco shell. Ensure the corners of the wonton wrappers hang over the edges to create a nice shape.

      Bake Wontons: Bake the wonton shells in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they become slightly golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

        Add Pizza Sauce: Spoon 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce into each wonton shell to form a base.

          Layer Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce in each shell. Then add pepperoni slices or your choice of toppings, followed by another light sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top.

            Season: Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder evenly over the filled wonton tacos.

              Final Bake: Return the stuffed wonton tacos to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
