Ingredients

4 large croissants, halved lengthwise

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced green chilies (canned or fresh)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the Croissants: Place the halved croissants in the baking dish, cut side up, ensuring they're evenly spaced without overlapping.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Add Cheese and Chilies: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced green chilies into the egg mixture. Make sure everything is well incorporated.

Assemble the Bakes: Pour the egg and cheese mixture evenly over the croissants, allowing the mixture to soak into the bread. Press down gently on the croissants to ensure they're saturated.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful Green Chili Egg Croissant Bakes!
