Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1/2 cup Nutella

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup crushed nuts (e.g., almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts)

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

Lollipop sticks or popsicle molds

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Start by peeling the ripe bananas and cutting them in half. Insert a lollipop stick into the flat end of each banana half to create a handle. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Nutella Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, gently warm the Nutella for about 10–15 seconds until it's slightly melted and easy to spread. Once warmed, dip each banana half into the Nutella, ensuring they are well-coated. Let the excess drips fall off.

Greek Yogurt Layer: After coating them with Nutella, dip each banana pop into Greek yogurt, covering the Nutella layer; this adds a creamy texture and taste.

Crushed Nuts Topping: Sprinkle the crushed nuts over the yogurt layer, ensuring they stick to the yogurt. You can also roll the pops in the crushed nuts for a more generous coating.

Freeze the Pops: Place the coated banana pops back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Transfer them to the freezer and freeze for at least 3-4 hours or until fully solid.

Optional Chocolate Drizzle: If you want to add a chocolate drizzle, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth. Once the banana pops are frozen, remove them from the freezer and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top using a fork.

Serving: Allow the pops to sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes before serving to make them easier to eat. Enjoy your delightful Nutella banana pops!
