1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade dough)

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh arugula

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

1/4 cup ricotta cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon balsamic glaze

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you're using a pizza stone, place it in the oven as it preheats.

    Prepare the Dough: Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer it to a pizza peel or an oiled baking sheet if you're not using a pizza stone.

      Garlic Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Brush this garlic oil mixture evenly across the surface of the dough.

        Layer the Ingredients: Start by layering the slices of fresh mozzarella cheese evenly on the pizza base. Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes on top.

          Bake the Pizza: Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

            Add Fresh Greens: As soon as the pizza is out of the oven, dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese around the pizza. Scatter fresh arugula and basil leaves over the top.
