1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon onion powder

6 strips of bacon, cooked until crispy

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup ranch dressing

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2 hours) in the refrigerator. This will tenderize the chicken and add flavor.

    Prepare the Breading: In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In another dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.

      Bread the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, coating evenly, then dip back into the buttermilk, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs for a crispy texture.
