12 oz penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups fresh spinach

1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant but not browned.
