Creamy Chicken and Spinach Pasta in 30 Minutes

8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or penne)

1 lb (450g) chicken breast, diced

2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta:

    Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté the Chicken:

        While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until it’s golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

          Cook the Aromatics:
