2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

4 cups mixed greens (arugula, spinach, and romaine)

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1 avocado, diced

1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette (store-bought or homemade)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients: If you haven't done so already, cook the chicken breast (grilled or poached works well) and allow it to cool before shredding or dicing. Pit and halve the cherries, thinly slice the red onion, and dice the avocado.

    Compose the Salad Base: In a large salad bowl, add the mixed greens as a base.
