Ingredients

1 cup sliced salami

1 cup sliced prosciutto

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 cup cubed cheddar cheese

1 cup cubed gouda cheese

1 cup diced fresh vegetables (bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and red onions)

1 cup cooked pasta (preferably penne or bowtie)

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Sliced olives for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the meat mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced salami, prosciutto, cooked bacon, and pepperoni. Toss together until the meats are well mixed.

Mix the cheeses: In another bowl, mix together the cubed cheddar and gouda cheeses. Set aside.

Combine pasta and vegetables: In a separate bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the diced bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and red onions. Stir until evenly distributed.

Make the cream mixture: In a mixing jug, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, fresh thyme, fresh basil, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.

Layer the casserole: In a large oven-safe casserole dish, layer half of the pasta and vegetable mixture on the bottom. Add a layer of the meat mixture followed by a layer of the mixed cheeses. Pour half of the cream mixture over this layer.

Repeat the layers: Add the remaining pasta and vegetable mixture, followed by the rest of the meat and cheese mixtures. Finally, pour the remaining cream mixture evenly over the top.

Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the casserole for a golden crust.

Bake the casserole: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Garnish with sliced olives if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
